And baby came too…

And baby came too…

A new enterprise designed to provide local parents with a warm, welcoming environment to catch up with friends, enjoy a stress-free coffee and grab a bite to eat has opened in Tonbridge.

The Clock House Baby Cafe is the brainchild of The Clock House proprietors, Polly and Daniel Ward. As parents themselves to Bobby, two, and Chester, six weeks, they saw a huge need for a family friendly concept like this in the town.
“From my own personal experiences, I know that sometimes trying to grab a coffee in town can be a little stressful with young children in tow. Whether it’s struggling to navigate and park your buggy between tables, self-conscious when your little one starts to grizzle, uncomfortable about breast feeding, or simply trying to keep your toddler sat still so as to not disturb other patrons,” said Polly.
The Clock House Baby Cafe, which is open Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm, offers a place where parents, grandparents and carers can enjoy a great cup of coffee and slice of cake as well as enjoy an environment especially catered for young families.
“We are lucky to have a huge amount of space on-site which means there is plenty of room to park up a buggy, and let the little ones run riot,” added Polly. “There’s a special matted area for play as well as a host of toys and games to entertain the children. We have fresh cakes being delivered daily alongside an extensive lunch menu with special packed lunches available for the kids.”
• The Clock House Baby Cafe is at 8 Barden Road, Tonbridge TN9 1TX or call 01732 302072.
