Fracking to go ahead in Lancashire, Kent next?

Today the Government gave the go ahead for the controversial use of fracking to extract gas and oil from shale rocks in Lancashire. It could start as early as the end of 2017 at the site in the north of England, but while there are no current plans to frack in the South East, in 2015 the Weald Basin was discovered to have £300bn worth of oil at one site in West Sussex, close to Gatwick Airport.
