The prestigious Banff Mountain Film Festival is held every year in the Canadian Rockies, with the winning short films selected from hundreds and then taken on a global tour – which is returning to the UK with an unforgettable evening of adventure films coming to the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells on Saturday 1st April. In all, the tour comprises nearly 100 screenings at more than 50 venues.
This collection of short films showcase incredible expeditions from remote destinations and, featuring today’s most exciting adventure film-makers, the screenings combine high-adrenaline action sports with inspirational stories from sometimes unlikely adventurers.
“Each screening offers a real sense of community, bringing together people with a wide range of outdoor passions,” says Tour Director Nell Teasdale, adding: “We guarantee that viewers will leave with new enthusiasm and inspiration for their own adventures too!”
The screening appeals to people of all ages – all they need is their spirit of adventure!
