Every business owner is looking to increase income and create sustainable profits. However, it is often difficult to find time to grow their knowledge or gain valuable new skills. The answer to this problem is now here.

Grow Kent is offering workshops and speakers to help businesses make that next step. And attending will now build up CPD points.

The free conference & exhibition, which takes place at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury on 22 March 2017 includes a number of great speakers, master classes and over 50 exhibitors.

Here, a number of hot issues will be looked at to help businesses – they include:

  • How to reduce costs and increase profits
  • How to create an environment where staff will bring the best of themselves to work every day
  • How to be better and faster with decision making
  • How to write a dynamic marketing plan and the top things that must be included
  • The FIVE key differentiators favoured by high growth businesses
  • The power of networking, collaboration and social media community
  • How to squeeze more profitability out of your existing customers
  • Find out how to avoid failure – only 19% of businesses make their 5th birthday

In addition to keynote speaker Brad Burton, delegates will hear from a number of other experienced professionals giving tips and advice on growing their business.

This includes Google, who will run a Digital Garage master class on how to get new customers to find you through search optimisation, local listings and search engine marketing.

Alice Mansergh, Director of Google Marketing Solutions for UK and Ireland, said “Google’s products and free digital training are a growth engine for people and businesses up and down the country. So if you want to boost your career, or turbocharge your business, please join us at our Digital Garage and talk to our experts. We can help you connect to new customers, help boost your productivity or improve your employability no matter what field you work in.”

Other speakers include James Osborne, CEO of Innergy, who will run an interactive master class on sales and Cathy Brown, Executive Director of Engage for Success who will focus on the future of work.

The conferences are organised by Best Business Events and supported by the IoD Kent Branch and FSB. Director of Best Business Events, Carole Black, said: “This is aimed at businesses who want to accelerate their business and create sustainable profits. It will also give them valuable insights and advice from a panel of professionals on everything from marketing to gaining new customers. This includes Google and we are really pleased to have them speak at the event. At the same time, it will also help with professional development as attending will mean they earn valuable CPD points.”
