Tunbridge Wells’ The Pantiles has been made a finalist for the Great British High Street Award 2016 in the ‘Local Centre/Parade of Shops’ category.
The category description states that ‘all impressed with their incredible community spirit’ and The Pantiles is up against Faulkner Street in Hoole near Chester and The Parade in Claygate. This year’s competition saw a record 900 entries across 14 different categories that covers everything from Best Shop on Twitter to the Best Village.
Each winner receives a share of a prize pot worth £100,000, expert digital training from Google’s Digital Taskforce for shops, bars and restaurants and a trip to Twitter’s office in London to help further boost their social media skills.
