The Pearson Arms in Whistable is on the shortlist to be crowned the Best Pub View in the country.
The Pearson Arms, owned by chef Richard Philips of Tunbridge Wells Thackaray’s fame, is the South East’s entry following a public vote which saw thousands of people nationwide select their favourite images of stunning architecture and landscapes from across the UK. The pub will now go up against eleven other finalists from Oxfordshire to the Isle of Wight and from Scotland to Liverpool to fight it out for the title.
The vista from the pub’s upstairs restaurant gives diners an opportunity to look out over the beach and across the estuary.
Voting for the winner is conducted online and will close on the 31st August. The winner of the best view will be announced in September. To vote, visit www.myglazing.com/WWAV
