You’ll have to go a long way to better the welcome that you receive at How Green Nursery in Hever, which is throwing open its doors on 10th-11th June for a public open weekend.

This delightful trade nursery is open to the public just three weekends a year and it’s well worth a visit. Not only will you enjoy breathing in the scents and sights of an extraordinarily wide range of perennials, grasses, ferns, alpines, herbs and vegetables, but you can delight in the knowledge that the nursery also now supply shrubs, topiary and trees too.

Relax with tea and delicious homemade cakes in the garden and summer house, then wander at your leisure through a great selection of expertly grown plants.

Need some advice? There is always someone knowledgeable on hand at this long-established family wholesale nursery where Simon Sutcliffe and his team are passionate about everything planty – they also offer a plant sourcing service and are always pleased to quote for planting schemes.
